David's workshops are an opportunity to immerse yourself in a day of vibrant exploration, focusing on colour, set design, and the magic of creative studio lighting.Working with David in a very small group, you'll have an unforgettable experience where you'll delve into fully designed shoots with an editorial angle.The focus of all the workshops is combining a rewarding learning experience with producing outstanding imagery. The idea is to transform the way you work, and add a set of skills to your toolkit.How it works
There are several workshop formats to choose from, each of which has elements of lighting, shooting and retouching.You can book a space on one of the sessions, you'll receive expert tuition, photograph a professional model and go away with a new set of skills and a beautiful collection of photographs.After the workshop you'll receive unlimited and ongoing support via email, David's Facebook group or on Zoom.The images can be used for any non-commercial purpose (e.g. your website, social media, other promo materials).Workshop formatsChoose from one of the following formats.

All of David's workshops centre around the creative and practical aspects of studio portrait photography. Choose from:Soulful Portraiture
This is the 'signature' experience where you'll explore the technical and creative elements that go into producing outstanding colour portraiture. Using a range of hand-painted canvas backdrops, vintage furniture and curated styling, you'll learn how to create gorgeous set designs and combine colours to get 'that' look.Take your lighting, shooting and retouching to the next level, whatever your level of experience.

Art of Monochrome
This workshop celebrates the timeless allure of black & white portraiture. It's an enriching journey into the heart of visual storytelling.By removing the distraction of colour, you'll have the opportunity to delve deep into the rich textures, intricate patterns, and striking contrasts that define monochrome photography. Explore the interplay of light and shadow, and discover new dimensions of visual communication.

Dark Glamour
Explore the darker side of beauty in this NEW workshop with David. The main focus is to craft dramatic portraits that tell a story, with a darker edge. David's expertise in set design and colour work will ensure your images are imbued with originality and impact.Whether you're a seasoned professional or an enthusiastic amateur, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and artistic vision.
